Liverpool supporters ponder frightening attacking setup after Mohamed Salah signs

Supporters were inevitably quick to take to Twitter on Thursday night as Mohamed Salah finalised his move to Liverpool, signing a five-year deal with the Reds.

The Egyptian follows striker Dominic Solanke as the club’s second signing of the summer and supposedly the first of many high-profile arrivals expected on Merseyside over the next few months.

Salah’s move will see him play in the Premier League for a second time after he turned down a move to Liverpool back in 2014 and subsequently opted to join Chelsea before enduring an unsuccessful spell with the Londoners.

He has since enjoyed valuable spells at Fiorentina and Roma in Serie A where he has moulded into one of Europe’s exciting attacking talents.

The 25-year-old will now bolster Liverpool’s star-studded attacking lineup, promising the same explosive pace and counterattacking qualities that have seen Sadio Mane become one of Jurgen Klopp’s most influential players in just his first year at the club.

Weeks of length negotiations were seemingly worth it with fans incredibly excited about the prospect of Salah playing with the likes of Roberto Firmino, Philippe Coutinho and of course Mane.
