(Video) Mohamed Salah with classy surprise for fans as he gets tour on first day at Liverpool

It has seemingly taken less than two days for Liverpool fans to adore Mohamed Salah with the Egyptian having enjoyed an impressive start to life on Merseyside even before kicking a football.

The Egyptian was given a tour of Anfield on Friday, having sealed his £36.9million move from Roma the night before, and was at hand to surprise a group of excited Reds also being shown around the stadium.

Salah followed up his acknowledgement for the importance of the club’s fan base by taking the time out of his first day as a Liverpool player to interact with those who will be cheering him on next season.

So far so good for the 25-year-old with his highly-anticipated switch from Roma and his first interview as a Red, in which he expressed his excitement and desire to deliver silverware, going down extremely well with supporters.

He arrives as the first of many significant statements Liverpool are expected to make during the summer transfer window, bringing an array of attacking expertise set to bolster Jurgen Klopp’s options and make him a perfect fit to the German’s setup.

Salah also met with newly-appointed CEO Peter Moore as well as getting a feel for his new dressing room and the famous ‘This is Anfield’ sign.

The next step is getting him on that pitch- something fans cannot wait for.
