Roberto Firmino was at hand to treat an already enthusiastic crowd of Hong Kong Reds to a moment of Brazilian magic in Saturday’s Asia Trophy final against Leicester.

Liverpool’s No.9 was up to his old tricks in the first half, picking up the ball on the left hand side before beating Daniel Amarteey not once, but twice.

The Reds forward fooled his marker with ease, giving him the eyes before leaving in a flash with a sublime scoop turn.

He has got into a bit of a habit of humiliating his opponents, as Roberto Soldado will tell anyone.

Though Firmino brought the supporters to their feet, the spotlight was stole by his fellow countryman with Philippe Coutinho producing a stunning strike to give Liverpool the lead- one they would go on to protect.

While the end result was pleasing, the various examples of Firmino, Coutinho and new signing Mohamed Salah linking up will also have been a source of much excitement.

Jurgen Klopp’s men are looking fit, determined and well on their way towards being fully prepared for the new Premier League season.

Here’s a look back at Firmino’s moment of brilliance…
