Is Virgil van Dijk to Liverpool done?
We have heard nothing from anyone we trust implicitly to suggest so, but when a Southampton insider claims as much – it maybe holds more wait than the long list of LFC ‘ITKS’ who’ve often spoken from the head (but sometimes the heart) this window…
This isn’t to criticise them, by the way – we’re confident they publish the information they receive – but sometimes this information is confused or flat out changes through no fault of their own!
But moving on…
A respected user of a Southampton fan forum known as ‘Monk’, who correctly told fans about van Dijk going on strike before the papers did, has claimed this afternoon that ‘the deal is done’.
The Dutchman is already training on his own after telling Southampton he wants to leave, with Liverpool the only club he wants to join.

However, we went into the forum and read the rest of what ‘Monk’ has to say, and it’s a little less certain…
He goes on to claim he doesn’t know how reliable his two sources are, that he’s not been involved with the club for some time and that he was also told van Dijk was off to United in May…

So there you have it.
For us, this guy might be spot on – but we’re fed up of speculating in all honesty and can only wait.
The bookies however, have reacted to the fact Liverpool Twitter is going berserk over the news. But again, this has happened throughout the summer.
Our prediction? It’ll get done. When? Don’t know.
