Roberto Firmino ensured Liverpool made the most of their early dominance against Arsenal by heading the Reds into the lead.
The Brazilian was at hand to take full advantage of the Reds’ bright start as he got on the end of a Joe Gomez cross to head beyond Petr Cech.
In a frantic start from both sides, Liverpool’s attacking trio of Firmino, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah continued their sparkling form to expose Arsenal’s familiar defensive frailties.
While Firmino stole the spotlight, Gomez’s work on the right-hand side deserves recognition.
