Mohamed Salah treated Liverpool fans to a welcomed reminder of his famous pace on Sunday as he out ran one of the quickest defenders in the Premier League.
The Egyptian put the Reds 3-0 up against Arsenal after beating Hector Bellerin to the ball on the half way line before running clear and slotting home past Petr Cech.
His second half effort followed up a dominant 45 minutes for the Reds, in which Roberto Firmino’s header and Sadio Mane’s superb curling strike had given Jurgen Klopp’s men a commanding lead going into the break.
Arsenal’s familiar defensive frailties didn’t overshadow another emphatic attacking move from the Reds, who picked up where they left off from their explosive midweek win over Hoffenheim.
