Liverpool plan big unveiling for Manchester United clash

Liverpool be officially unveiling the newly named Kenny Dalglish Stand at Anfield against Manchester United in just over a week’s time, reports ESPN.

The club has decided to change the Centenary Stand to be named after our greatest servant, who served us so brilliantly as a player and manager in various positions between 1977 and 2012.

Before the crunch Premier League tie, there will also be two mosaics held up to celebrate the King.

Hopefully, it will inspire the team to victory, as we haven’t won at home since the 4-0 Arsenal thumping back in August.

But bouncing back against our greatest rivals would be the best way to do it.

As a player, Dalglish won six First Division titles and three European Cups in Red. As a manger, he collected the league on three occasions, one of which was as Player Manager.

In 1983, he finished as runner-up in the Ballon d’Or to Michel Platini, won the Football Writers’ Player of the Year award twice and was given an MBE in 1984.
