‘Still love him to bits’- Reds reflect on Jurgen Klopp’s two years at Liverpool

Reds have taken to social media in their numbers to issue their verdict on Jurgen Klopp’s two years at Liverpool.

Whilst the majority have expressed the continued faith they have in the German, there have also been a number of fans critical of a supposed lack of progress.

The chances are, however, that there would be nowhere near as much negativity were supporters reflecting on Klopp’s tenure just before the start of the season.

A testing period for the club of late promises to have played a key role in sparking notable uncertainty amongst Reds, although there remains to be plenty who still believe Klopp is the man to take Liverpool forward- and rightly so.

The ongoing debate over the defence aside, the former Borussia Dortmund boss has restored a sense of identity at Anfield.

He’s implemented a specific and, crucially, exhilarating brand of football, not to mention guiding this team to two cup finals and a top four finish.

It has always been a long term project and one in which setbacks were a certainty.
