Divock Origi scored the second Bundesliga goal of his loan spell at Wolfsburg yesterday.
The Belgian is spending the campaign in Germany after it became evident he wouldn’t get many minutes under Jurgen Klopp, with Dominic Solanke climbing above him in the Liverpool pecking order.
Origi now has two in six and we hope he gradually improves this ratio as the season develops.
Wolfsburg drew 2-2 with Bayer Leverkusen, with Origi baggin his side’s first goal with a clinical header.
Using his height and strength, he beat the centre-back he was up against and planted the ball in the corner of the net – striker style!
It’s the kind of finish Liverpool have been crying out for all season, in truth.
