John Arne Riise criticised Dejan Lovren on Twitter last night, but we think it was uncalled for.
The central defender was the player selected to speak in the pre-match press-conference ahead of tonight’s tie with Maribor in the Champions League.

Lovren was immediately asked by a journalist about Saturday’s incident in which it looked like Romelu Lukaku purposely kicked his face against Manchester United.
Here’s what Lovren said, when ASKED about the incident:
Lovren: he did it on purpose. pic.twitter.com/oRfBQatBOp

He also went on say that ,”We need to move on. That is football, part of the game,” according to BBC Sport, but former left-back Riise still took offence:
Please Lovren. Just get on with it and let it go. Game is done and you should use your energy focusing on your game and our team

Lovren gets enough stick from his own fans without ex-pros weighing in on him too.
We like Riise a lot and think he should be given a role with the club, but in this instance, think he’s got it wrong.
