Senegal have called up Sadio Mane for their international fixtures against South Africa on November 10th and 14th.
This is despite the fact that Mane injured his hamstring on October 10 it was reported by liverpoolfc.com that heād be out for six weeks at least.
South Africaās fixtures are around four weeks after the tear, but Aliou Cisse reckons heāll be fit.
āIn my mind, there is no doubt he will be with us for the double-header against South Africa and that he will be 100 percent fit,ā he said, reported by TIA.
āUntil now, he has just been doing some individual trainingārunning in straight lines.
āBut from next week, he is going to train harder and start working with the ball.ā
This is ridiculous.
Yes, Senegal need to get through their qualifier, but Mane is injured. Cisse may have āno doubtā, but club doctors do and have ruled him out until the end of November as a result.
Klopp hates injured players being pushed too hard and is going to hit the wall when he sees this.
Itāll be interesting to see Maneās responseā¦
Will our best player play through an injury to help his country qualify for the World Cup against Liverpoolās wishes?
