Georginio Wijnaldum has offered Reds a fascinating insight into his life away from the spotlight and in the comfort of his own home.
The Dutchman invited David Vujanic, on behalf of LFCTV, to his house to discuss the brilliantly normal aspects of his life as a professional football.
Socks proved to be a surprisingly refreshing topic as Wijnaldum revealed how he loved to buy lots of his from Primark- much like the rest of the country, believe it or not.
His admission of the odd cheat day in his strict diet served as another gloriously ordinary factor for fans to relate to, not to mention his lack of cooking skills.
Wijnaldum’s incredibly catchy fan chant was also inevitably brought up, with the former Newcastle man grateful for the admiration Liverpool’s supporters persist to show him.
Besides imitating the trending rapper Big Shaq, the Liverpool midfielder demanded a shout out for Carol and Caroline- the club’s notoriously popular canteen staff.
The pair came into conversation over a simple cup of tea, which Gini revealed they very kindly always prepare for him.
Both have previously been labelled by Adam Lallana as his favourite people at the club, as well as being amongst the first to greet Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain upon his arrival on transfer deadline day.
