We think Jurgen Klopp will make six changes to the side that drew with Chelsea on Saturday.

During his press-conference today, the boss hinted that Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino will come back into the side, which suggests Daniel Sturridge and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will make way.

“It made sense at this part of the season to use the strength of the squad. It’s not completely unlikely they will start (v Stoke),” he said.

Mo Salah simply has to keep his place as an inside forward having scored 15 goals in all competitions so far, which completes the front-three.

Gini Wijnaldum was rested for the Chelsea tie so we think he’ll take James Milner’s midfield spot, with Coutinho another automatic starter on the other side of an anchorman.

Klopp confirmed Emre Can is fit and we think we could play as our holding midfielder, allowing recently criticised skipper Jordan Henderson a rest.

At fullback, we’re boldly predicting Alberto Moreno will finally get a rest, which will allow Andrew Robertson a start at left-back. The Spaniard’s been basically ever-present and the Scot deserves a chance. On the other side, Trent Alexander-Arnold is likely to play which will allow Joe Gomez a rest of his own.

Dejan Lovren’s not 100% fit, so Joel Matip and Ragnar Klavan are the sensible centre-back options, with Simon Mignolet between the sticks.

On the bench, Adam Lallana, Sturridge, Ox, Milner and Moreno provide interesting options for Klopp.

What d’you think of our predicted lineup, Reds?
