We get that there’s plenty of ex-Liverpool players working as pundits, but we’d be genuinely embarrassed if they slated Manchester United or Chelsea after a 7-0 Champions League win.
Roy Keane said a month or so ago that he wouldn’t watch Liverpool if we were playing in his back garden. Since then, we haven’t lost and have scored 40 goals in 11 matches, yet this is how the Irishman analysed the game on ITV last night…

He literally doesn’t praise Jurgen Klopp’s Reds once, downplays their achievement and claims we haven’t beaten anybody of note.
But he said Manchester United had proven they could go far in the Champions League after progressing through a group which included Basel, CSKA Moscow and Benfica.
