Eddie Howe launches big Klopp defence after recent ‘sore loser’ jibes

Eddie Howe has paid Jurgen Klopp a big compliment in terms of not only his character, but also his ability as a manager.

Liverpool travel to Bournemouth on Sunday, ready to take on Howe’s outfit who are in their third season of Premier League football.

Last term, we lost 4-3 in a famous battle after throwing away 2-0 and 3-1 leads – with goalkeeper Loris Karius at fault.

But Howe claims Klopp behaved impeccably afterwards, with recent rhetoric about Liverpool’s manager surrounding the manner in which he handled the poor decisions we received against Everton and West Brom.

“I can only go from personal experience and from the game here last year when we beat them I thought he was very good in that moment which is the most difficult for a manager when your team has just lost,” he told the Star.

“He acted with real class and showed real personal qualities.

“I’m full of admiration for him as a man and how he coaches his team.”

We honestly don’t think Klopp did too much wrong in his so-called disrespectful interviews. He was frustrated and baited by a reporter, and eventually apologised anyway for getting worked up.

We’re much more interested in what his teams do on the field, in truth.

Following two home draws against rubbish teams in Everton and WBA, a victory is crucial against Howe’s side.

His teams try to play football, which will hopefully give our attackers room to create.
