Mo Salah injury news revealed… and it’s not great

Damn.

Liverpool’s main man is out for a few games.

According to the Mirror, Mo Salah will be absent injured for at least a few weeks, after limping off against Leicester a few days back.

This means he’ll miss the Burnley clash today and the FA Cup tie with Everton, but will be hopefully back for the crunch tie with City on the 14th.

The Egyptian scored a quite frankly ridiculous 23 goals before the New Year, which equals Roger Hunt’s record from the 1960s. However, he did it in the 2nd division, making Salah’s achievement all the more impressive.

A few days back, Salah beat Leicester almost singlehandedly, with a superb brace, that took him to 17 Premier League goals for the campaign.

But sadly, he was subbed injured at the end, ruling him out of today’s Burnley clash…

Now, the rest of Liverpool’s ‘Fab Four’ will be relied upon for inspiration.

On December 30th, Sadio Mane put in a superb performance, and we hope the Senegalese can find his finishing boots against Sean Dyche’s tough XI.

In 2016/07, Mane was lethal, and we’d like to see his clinical finishing again.

Last season’s trip to Turf Moor was horrible though… So we’re hoping for better than that!
