Jon Flanagan today pleaded guilty to assaulting his girlfriend in court.
The Liverpool defender admitted hitting Rachael Wall 03:20 GMT in Duke Street, in Liverpool city centre, on 22 December. BBC News has claimed that the 25-year-old will be sentenced later this month.

Flanno is way down Liverpool’s pecking order and would only be used by Jurgen Klopp if we faced a very dramatic injury crisis – and fans have called for him to be sacked following the incident.
