WHAT A MOMENT!
Having waited seemingly since June for Liverpool to sign Virgil van Dijk, Jurgen Klopp fielded the £75m centre-back tonight for his debut in the Merseyside Derby.
And in the 84th minute, he rose above everyone else to nod home a winner in front of the Kop.
You literally cannot write stuff like that.
A beautiful moment and one we’ll remember as a defining moment of this and any season.
And watch his celebration… Thumping the badge and knee sliding. He’s been waiting for as long as us, Reds.
