Egyptian FA confirm worrying Mo Salah news that LFC fans do not need right now

The better Mo Salah does, the more Real Madrid are going to try and sign our world-class attacker.

That much is becoming increasingly inevitable.

We just hope that his head won’t be turned to the extent Luis Suarez and Coutinho’s were by their rivals Barcelona…

The head of the Egyptian FA Hany Abo Rida has claimed that Real Madrid will submit a bid for the 25-year-old at the end of this season – adding that it would be fantastic for his country if the transfer occurred.

“Real Madrid will make an offer for Salah during the summer,” he said, according to reports in Egypt, translated by the Mail.

“Salah is now looking to improve his game. Obviously if an Egyptian plays for a club as popular around the world as Real Madrid, it’s going to be great for Egyptian football.”

Liverpool need to offer Salah a bumper new contract already – doubling his wages in the process.

He’s scored 24 goals already this term and we need to show him we’re serious in our short and long-term ambitions.

Real Madrid will pique the interest of any player, so we need to act quickly – as we know how capable the Spaniards are of playing dirty games to secure targets.

They need to bolster their frontline which includes two forwards on the decline in Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema and the perpetually injured Gareth Bale.

But Liverpool will obviously have no intention of selling Salah – and we’d like to think any offers under the current £200m world record will be scoffed at.
