Like virtually every other Red, we hadn’t seen much of the 18-year-old before this news broke, but have tracked down some footage of the marauding left-back in a fixture for Colombia U20s against Chile.
In the individual highlights package embedded into the tweet below, you’ll see our new signing’s strength, speed and aggression.
He reminds us a little bit of Mamadou Sakho in that he looks like he’s uncomfortable on the ball, but actually has it under perfect control!
He’s obviously a much better dribbler than the Frenchman, too.
Obviously a short highlights clip isn’t indicative of his chances of succeeding at Anfield, but he undeniably has ability.
Hopefully he can hone it under Jurgen Klopp.
