‘That’s not cool…’ Klopp delivers LFC transfer blow

Jurgen Klopp’s latest comments on Emre Can indicate the German is almost definitely leaving…

The boss says the situation is ‘not cool’ – aware the the 24-year-old is running down his contract which currently expires at the end of this season.

Klopp’s promised he won’t leave in January, but couldn’t tell supporters the German will be at the club in 2018/19.

“He’ll stay beyond the winter,” Klopp told DAZN . “Emre is still a young lad but he has developed into a great player and is very important for us.

“Sometimes a player just wants to sit out his contract. That’s not cool for the club, but there are moments in which you have to accept it.

“And as long as the player behaves like Emre does, then I have absolutely nothing to complain about. He gives everything he has and identifies with the club.”

We’d quite like Can to just announce what he’s going to do and enable us to stop worrying.

In our opinion, he’s already decided on a Juventus switch – he’s just not officially penned terms yet.

He’d definitely giving his all to the team in fairness, with Klopp making him captain for our past two matches.

Sadly though, both have been lost – with Liverpool beginning to suffer the same January blues as we did in 2017…
