We don’t understand what happened at the end of today’s game…
Firstly, John Moss refused to overall his decision to award Spurs a penalty, despite his assistant telling him Harry Kane was offside (which he was).

Watch Salah’s 90th minute worldy that should have been the winner…
Then, he decided not to give a penalty for Erik Lamela’s dive, before overruling the decision on the advice of his assistant.
It wasn’t a penalty.
Here’s proof:
This is the angle that the assistant saw. But from much further away. How is he overruling that. https://t.co/xgemyTVnWh

The reaction online was furious. Moss did everything he can in the second half to rob us off three points. In the end, he achieved it.
The linesman fist-pumped giving away the penalty, Lemela clearly dived in the replays, and John Moss is utterly spineless.
Pretend you're a decent governing body & deal with that @FA.

Brilliant that John Moss ignores the linesman’s advice not to give a penalty – and then takes the advice of the linesman to give a last minute penalty, after so clearly denying one.

John Moss is also a disgrace of a referee. Completely incapable of controlling games. Decides no penalty then let’s the linesman who has a worse view to change his mind. Unreal

John Moss and his assistants are a complete joke and an embarrassment to other officials
