Dejan Lovren has spoken candidly about the Manchester United game on Saturday, which will be huge in deciding which side finishes second.

The Croat has claimed Jose Mourinho plays incredibly negatively, while Jurgen Klopp is a master of attacking football – and that we’ll be playing for the win.

Last time out at Anfield, Mourinho quite literally killed the game with the most defensive tactical plan we’ve seen this season.

Comical from the club with the highest wage bill on the planet!

“Last time, when they came here, they defended really deep so let’s see what happens now,” Lovren told the Echo.

“For them maybe a point will be good but for us, we never play for a point.

“Mourinho has his own plans, it is not our job to know, it is our job to focus on ourselves and play how we want and how we believe we can beat them.

“We will give our best. We will play like we play every day, attacking football. Let’s enjoy.”

At Old Trafford, surely United will have to try and control proceedings, which could actually benefit us.

In the second-half though, they always come back into it with the help of the crowd, so it’ll be key that we start well.

Hopefully Mo Salah has his shooting boots on, and David de Gea doesn’t have one of those days where he pulls off two or three miracle saves.

A win would put us above our rivals in the table, where we deservedly should be.
