Jurgen Klopp has already promised highly-rated youngster Rhian Brewster a promotion to the Liverpool first-team for next season.

The 17-year-old striker is yet to make his debut for us at senior level, but made waves last year with some extremely eye-catching displays for England as they won the Under-17 World Cup.

Brewster was one of the heroes of the tournament, netting successive hat-tricks in the quarter-finals and semi-finals before bagging the opener in the final victory against Spain.

He won the Golden Boot for his efforts, and it’s little surprise many at Liverpool see him as one of the most promising players to come through the academy in a long time.

According to Chris Bascombe of the Telegraph, Klopp has already assured the player, who is currently out injured, that he’s set for a first-team call-up next season.

Klopp clearly rates Brewster highly and his words will no doubt help keep his spirits up as he recovers from surgery on his right ankle.

If the teenager can replicate his prolific touch from youth level in the senior side, then adding him to a front four alongside Mo Salah, Bobby Firmino and Sadio Mane is truly frightening news for the rest of the Premier League!

With Trent Alexander-Arnold and Ben Woodburn also making the step up from academy to first-team in recent times, the future truly looks bright at Anfield.
