(Video) Mo Salah scores second after exquisite Robertson assist

Mohamed Salah will have his sights set on a first Liverpool hat-trick after grabbing a second for Liverpool shortly before halftime.

The Egyptian doubled his and the Reds’ tally with a simple close-range finish, assisted by Andrew Robertson’s exceptional cross from the left-hand side.

It served as a deserved reward for Jurgen Klopp’s men, who had dominated the game from the first whistle.

Salah opened the scoring in the fourth minute when he tormented Miguel Britos with some exquisite footwork on the edge of the box before slotting home with his right-foot.

His two goals now mean he sits on a tally of 34 for the season – the highest from a player in their debut campaign across all competitions in the club’s history.

The forward is now also the Premier League’s top scorer, moving two ahead of Tottenham’s Harry Kane.

Besides supplying the clinical touch in the final-third, Salah was an unrelenting creative menace to Watford’s defence in the first half.

He almost assisted a stunning counterattacking goal, only for a fine save to deny Roberto Firmino’s eventual shot.

Here’s a look at his second of the game…
