Jurgen Klopp owes Hector Cuper and Tite a drink!
Egypt’s national boss decided to leave Mo Salah on the bench for the entirety of his country’s 1-0 defeat to Greece last night.
And Brazil’s manager did the same with Roberto Firmino, who didn’t feature at all in El Selecao’s 1-0 victory over champions Germany.

Journalist suggests Real Madrid’s Salah interest depends on Premier League rival
Ahead of our crunch Premier League game with Crystal Palace on Saturday, which is followed by the mammoth Champions League fixture with Manchester City, this is fantastic news.
Salah and Firmino are arguably our two best players, so the fact they’ll be nice and fresh is terrific.
The other member of our front-three, Sadio Mane, did play for Senegal (as a no.10, interestingly) last night, but was subbed off late on to allow him a little respite, too.
Of our other starters, Jordan Henderson only played a short amount of time for England, while Trent was on the bench for the U21s.
Joe Gomez and Emre Can have been injury casualties from the fixtures, but the latter is returning and thankfully Nathaniel Clyne’s return covers the former.
Here’s how fans reacted to the brilliant news on Salah and Firmino!

My favourite thing about yesterday's games was Salah and Firmino being unused subs.
