Klopp responds to his agent’s Bayern Munich job hint

Unless Liverpool sack Jurgen Klopp, the German won’t leave until his contract expires in 2022.

The only way he’ll depart the club is if he’s asked to leave or his family feel uncomfortable in the city.

In short, he’s not exiting to join Bayern Munich, despite what his agent said recently.

“Jurgen isn’t too big for Bayern Munich and Bayern Munich isn’t too big for him. He definitely could do a very good job there,” Marc Kosicke told Sport 1, translated by the Independent.

“Bayern and Klopp would be a good fit, but it isn’t something that is an option at the moment,” he concluded, which many took as a hint to a potential future move.

But Klopp has silenced these suggestions, thankfully…

“As long as my family feel comfortable here and like it here, I always fulfil contracts,” he told the Telegraph. “But that’s not all in my hands, in football especially. I really hope that we never reach a situation where people say ‘Hopefully he leaves tomorrow’. But nobody needs to worry about that moment – if anyone is worrying.”

After the end of this season, Klopp will have four more at Liverpool to achieve his goals.

That for us is very exciting, considering the constant progress his team has made.

We’ve now got one of the world’s best centre-backs, a brilliant, marauding left-back, a front-three to rival any side in the world and Naby Keita arriving in the summer.

Klopp’s Liverpool also play arguably the most exciting football in Europe when at full pelt.

Let’s just hope it delivers us the Premier League at some point!
