Arsenal legend makes classy admission about Mohamed Salah after incredible start for Liverpool

Tweeting at half time of today’s Liverpool-Roma game, the Arsenal legend – known for his undying and passionate love for the Gunners – admitted he couldn’t help but be happy for Mo Salah and what he’s achieved with us this season.

The Egyptian scored his 42nd and 43rd goals of the season in the first half of tonight’s Champions League semi-final clash at Anfield, putting us a small step closer to the final.

Wrighty isn’t the only one loving it, but it says something that even someone as biased as him can’t even find it in himself to be jealous of Salah’s success!

Let’s hope Salah has even more in store in the second half, with Liverpool still needing a goal or two more to make this comfortable.

Roma notably came back against Barcelona in the last round despite losing the first leg 4-1, with a memorable 3-0 win at the Stadio Olimpico sending them through to face us tonight.

Still, with Salah playing like this, adding to our tally is certainly not looking beyond the realms of possibility right now…
