This is an odd one…?
Last night, BetVictor, who are a partner of Liverpool of course, suspended betting on Steven Gerrard becoming Rangers boss!
Graeme Murty is currently in charge but his job is in a precarious position, especially with Celtic walloping their Old Firm rivals 4-0 recently.

The Scotsman has confirmed that Gerrard is in talks to take the role, but interestingly, BetVictor put the odds back on the market late last night:

Gerrard currently manages our U18s, but the Rangers job will be a significant step up and test of his ability.
Interestingly, his former boss Brendan Rodgers manages Celtic, who face Rangers in five days’ time.
Could Gerrard be in charge for an Old Firm Derby first up?!
Surely not…
One day, we’d like Gerrard to take over from Jurgen Klopp, but not for many years yet.
Perhaps it would be beneficial for him to test his mettle up north for a few years?
Whatever he decides, we’ll back him!
