Former Liverpool ace David Thompson has heard from an unnamed source that Liverpool are bringing in Yaya Toure on a free transfer – with the legendary Ivorian set to leave Manchester City this summer on a Bosman on the expiration of his contract.

Toure is one of the best midfielders to ever grace the Premier League and five years ago, he was one of the world’s best players – but he’s probably the antipathy of what Klopp wants from a player in his position right now.
The 35-year-old doesn’t track, can’t sprint and because he’s won it all before, isn’t especially hungry for anymore success…
It’s not going to happen.
