The unrivalled support of the travelling Kop reigned supreme off the pitch this evening as Reds remained in full voice beyond the final whistle.
A disappointing 3-1 defeat to Real Madrid in Saturday’s Champions League final was proceeded by remarkable renditions of ‘Allez Allez Allez’ both in Kiev and back in Liverpool.
It marked an admirable final instalment of appreciation and acknowledgement for an exhilarating and frankly unforgettable season for Jurgen Klopp’s men.
Whilst fans refused to leave the Olimpiyskiy National Sports Complex fans, those in England congregated to make themselves heard in defiance of the crushing emotions evoked by the events of the night.
