Liverpool fans have been arguing among ourselves about the Loris Karius concussion situation over the past few days, which is perhaps no surprise as there’s no football to worry about and the Nabil Fekir talk has temporarily gone quiet.
But at least we’ve still got Mo Salah – and what’s more – the Egyptian flyer has reiterated how content he is at the club.
Didi Hamann has his say on Mo Salah…
“I’m very happy now in Liverpool,” he said while away with Egypt before the World Cup. “They have made me feel like I’m home. It is amazing with the fans here. They sing songs for you in the stadium. They chant your name, fans wear your shirt everywhere. It is beautiful.”
There were rumours Real Madrid would try and snare our 25-year-old, but it’s simply not going to happen – especially after the Champions League Final.
Salah is thriving under Jurgen Klopp and we hope our inside forward continues to develop in 2018/19.
He’ll have a more impressive accompanying cast to help him, too.
Naby Keita and Fabinho will bolster the midfield, while the expected arrival of Nabil Fekir will add creativity behind the superb front-three.
It’s a while away, but we already cannot wait for next term!
