Lazar Markovic could finally leave Liverpool for good this summer having seen his career come to a standstill over the past three years.
The winger arrived on Merseyside for £20million in 2014 before struggling to assert himself as a first-team regular under Brendan Rodgers.
His last appearance for the Reds now dates back as far as May 2015, with four years at Anfield entailing four mixed loan spells with Fenerbahçe, Sporting Lisbon, Hull City and Anderlecht.
The latter served as his temporary home over the second half of last season, where he managed just eight appearances and one goal.
Olympiacos are now considering a permanent deal for Markovic after being offered the chance to sign the Serbian by Liverpool, according to Greek outlet Sdna.

His mis-leading credentials and struggle to adapt to English football exposed a flaw to Liverpool’s recruitment policy prior to Klopp’s appointment and now arguably serves as a beacon of the club’s vastly-improved transfer approach.
Stints away from Merseyside have since offered little in the way of the encouragement needed to justify clubs investing in him on a permanent basis.
Hull has proven to be his most productive temporary home given the glimpses of his attacking threat and rise in self-belief under the management of Marco Silva.
That said, a failure to secure a move last summer resigned him to a hindering period out of action at Melwood.
At 24-years-old, the priority right now needs to be how often he is playing football rather than where.
