Emre Can has tried to leave Liverpool on a good-note.
Today, he was unveiled at Juventus, but left a note on his Instagram page thanking our fans for the memories.

But the reaction from Liverpool fans has been rather cynical, after learning that the German is going to pick up a quite insane £14m signing-on fee.
It now makes much more sense why he’s leaving Liverpool and a manager in Jurgen Klopp who trusts him completely.
Still, it’s his prerogative, so good luck to him. It’s a shame he was unfit towards the end of this season, as he could have genuinely made a difference in the Champions League Final. If he’d been part of a winning side, supporters would have likely been far more gracious upon his departure, despite the insane fees involved.

Everything is a lot clearer now that Emre Can has picked up a €16m financial package from Juve. Probably more than €10m of that went to him directly as a signing on fee and then some to his agent.
