If there’s ever a time to sign up for LFCTV, it’s during pre-season, where the amount of minutes we get to see on the training field is more than at any other time.

It’s absolutely fascinating to get an insight into the types of drills and which players perform best at Melwood and with the most intensity.
Usually, it’s James Milner bossing everybody, especially when it comes to physical tasks, which was evidenced earlier in the week!
But this clip, which you can watch here, shows Fabinho impressing Pep Lijnders, who has fully returned to the club after a spell in Holland.
The Dutchman screams at the likes of Ragnar Klavan, Alberto Moreno, Lazar Markovic, Sheyi Ojo and our new signing to ‘play football’ and ‘triangles’ as they manipulate the ball in small areas.
Fabinho doesn’t give it away once and is praised by the coach for his quick, incisive passes.
The Brazilian is expected to make his debut for us on Saturday, against Chester in the first pre-season friendly of the summer.
We cannot wait to see the powerhouse and Naby Keita in action!
