Roma director Monchi insists there have been no offers for Alisson amid speculation linking him to a summer departure.
The Brazilian goalkeeper had emerged as the prize of a two-way battle between Real Madrid and Liverpool, with Chelsea also recently expressing an interest in his services.
Alisson was identified as Jurgen Klopp’s priority target to fill his no.1 spot, although the Reds seemingly eased their interest after learning of his £70million valuation.
Real Madrid subsequently advanced into pole position, before club president Florentino Perez displayed a similar reluctance to meet Roma’s asking-price.
Monchi has now suggested that the club hasn’t gone as far as considering a price for Alisson having not yet received any formal bids.
Speaking to reporters, he said: “It’s the same as [Alessandro] Florenzi, nothing has changed, because so far we have not received any offers.”
“I’d say it is strange to claim we have a price-tag in mind, because if we haven’t received any bids, we can’t think about a price.”
“Now Alisson is on vacation and will return for pre-season training. If there were new developments, we’d evaluate them, but nothing has come in.”
This would seemingly pave the way for Liverpool to try their hand if they were still intent on recruiting a replacement for Loris Karius this summer.
Karius made his first appearance since his nightmare Champions League final on Saturday, starting in Liverpool’s opening pre-season friendly against Chester.
A growing and somewhat opinion-splitting belief on Merseyside is that Klopp could opt to keep his faith in the German and Danny Ward as his goalkeeping options next season.

Though often well-protected by his Brazil defence, Alisson looked uncharacteristically shaky at times throughout his World Cup campaign in Russia.
The 25-year-old displayed an uncertainty when dealing with crosses and set-pieces that doesn’t sit particularly well with life in the Premier League.
A string of nervy moments shouldn’t, however, tarnish his reputation as one of the game’s rising modern goalkeepers in regards to his impeccable reflexes, speed off his line and composure on the ball.
Real Madrid’s intensified interest in Chelsea’s Thibaut Courtois may have thrown England back in favour as Alisson’s next destination.
