Sadio Mane insists talk of a possible move to Real Madrid this summer is nothing but mere speculation.
The Liverpool winger has surfaced as a potential target for the Champions League winners as they prepare for a new chapter under manager Julen Lopetegui.
Mane enjoyed an outstanding campaign with the Reds, racking up a season-high 20 goals and eights assists across all competitions.
His fine form allegedly equated to a place on Real’s wish-list, although only as a backup to Paris Saint-Germain’s Neymar.
Nonetheless, Cristiano Ronaldo’s proposed move to Juventus has fuelled further suggestions that the Spanish giants will turn to Mane.
Speaking to reports, Mane said: “These are just rumours. I am not aware of anything and haven’t been contacted,” per TeamTalk.
“I remain a Liverpool player and I will join my team-mates in the United States for the pre-season tour.”
“Real are a great team, but I am focused on my team, Liverpool.”

Mane is believed to be next in line to be rewarded with a lucrative new-deal on Merseyside, with a five-year extension having supposedly been offered by the club.
This would follow on from the recent announcement of Mohamed Salah’s new five-year commitment and a similar deal for Roberto Firmino back in April.
A pervasive feeling at Anfield that a Premier League title challenge is within reach somewhat rules out any high-profile departures over the summer.
May’s Champions League final defeat only brought silverware closer in the sight of Jurgen Klopp, who now finds himself in a strong position to rule out any Philippe Coutinho-calibre exits.
Mane will still be a Liverpool player come the start of the season.
