The 23-year-old has starred at the World Cup for Croatia and will face England in Moscow tomorrow, but has never made the grade at club level for Juve.

In fact, he didn’t feature once for them in 2017/18 and only found minutes when he was loaned out to Schalke, for whom he scored two times in six appearances.

Pjaca is two-footed and can play on either flank in a 4-3-3. He’s dynamic, quick and skilful, but we don’t think Liverpool are interested.

We want an attacking midfielder who’s capable of being deployed in the no.8 role or on the flanks – hence why we were so keen on Nabil Fekir before a deal for the Frenchman signed.

The fact Juve want to offload Pjaca shows he perhaps is not yet at elite level – and the only attackers we want at Liverpool to bolster our team need to be exceptional.

There’s one month left of the transfer window and for now, we sit patiently.
