You cannot judge a footballer by how good he is on YouTube, but Shaqiri’s best ever goals prove that without a shadow of a doubt we’ve bought a highly skilled attacker.

But this latest clip which is doing the rounds makes us smile perhaps the most!
It shows Shaqiri up against Chris Smalling – turning the Manchester United defender inside-out, before flip-flapping the ball through his legs and winning a free-kick.

When you consider Shaqiri is going to be primarily a bench option and cost just £13m, it’s looking like increasingly clever business.
Players seem to go up a level under Jurgen Klopp, so we think we’ll see an improved version of the Swiss who toiled under the likes of Mark Hughes and Paul Lambert.
