We don’t know if they’ll pull it off or not, but Liverpool are doing everything they can to buy AS Roma stopper Alisson.
In fact, we’ve now tabled a £62m bid for the Brazilian – according to every reputable source, including BBC Sport.
Here are a few of them, below:
#LFC are going big for Alisson. Talks opened over a deal, Roma believed to be open to selling. Would be a world record fee for a goalkeeper.

This will make Alisson the most expensive goalkeeper of all time, after we made Virgil van Dijk the planet’s dearest defender back in January, should we finalise a contract.
Roma are yet to accept our offer, but talks are ongoing and the Italians will offload their prized asset.
It was claimed last week that Liverpool would give Danny Ward a chance as our no.1, but it seems these reports were bogus – or at least leaked on purpose to encourage Roma into doing business.
Chelsea are keen on the 25-year-old [PremiumSport] but it now looks like we’re heavy favourites.
Alisson is the man Jurgen Klopp wants between his sticks, and it appears we’re about to spend the money to ensure it happens.
