What’s more, his source totally contradicts every other major journalist on the subject – with the likes of James Pearce and Paul Joyce confirming our £66m offer was accepted yesterday.
We think he’s completely wrong – as do many other Liverpool fans – who explained as much in not so polite terms!
Unlike White, we think the Alisson deal could actually be announced this evening.
Once he’s confirmed, Liverpool have around three weeks to secure the no.10 we need – even more so since it was announced that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain would be out for the entirety of 2018/19.
We still think Nabil Fekir will be signed, despite insinuations from the media that Alisson would be our final arrival.
