Curtis Jones is not 18 until next year, but he’s already making waves for Liverpool this pre-season.
The youngster has been taken to America by Jurgen Klopp and was used in our recent match against Borussia Dortmund.

We lost 3-1, but were actually the better side, with Jones one of our better performers.

He has great strength on the ball and is comfortable on it, even when pressed strongly by opponents.
Jones will likely play for the U23s this term, but it’s great to see a player of such potential coming through the ranks, especially with Trent Alexander-Arnold our first-choice right-back.
