The Brazilian anchors our midfield, and helped Jurgen Klopp’s Reds thrash United 4-1 in Michigan, but for some reason, bore the brunt of opposition ridicule.
As @Deebiosi points out, the reason Fabinho didn’t have much to do is because United were so lifeless!

In truth, poor @DanielMUFC_ is probably a little bitter we signed the 24-year-old from Monaco… And they didn’t!
Fabinho was long linked to United but was secured by Jurgen Klopp and Michael Edwards at the start of this summer.
It’ll be interesting to see how he’s used when Jordan Henderson re-enters the fray.
We can see Fabinho holding and Henderson allowed more of a licence to roam, although it’ll be Naby Keita’s whose shackles are truly released with both the pair beside him.
