Liverpool’s Evian squad suggests four transfers likely

Liverpool are flying to Evian in France for a five-day training camp, before our final friendly of pre-season, against Napoli in Dublin.

Jurgen Klopp is taking 29 Liverpool players with him, but has left out a select few which intimates to us that they’re set for an exit.

Here’s the Reds named:

Liverpool squad: Kelleher, Grabara, Alisson, Karius, Van Dijk, Klavan, Moreno, Robertson, Phillips, Gomez, Alexander-Arnold, Clyne, Matip, Milner, Keita, Fabinho, Grujic, Lallana, Camacho, Wijnaldum, Jones, Sturridge, Ings, Origi, Shaqiri, Salah, Mane, Firmino, Solanke.

Simon Mignolet, Pedro Chirivella, Ben Woodburn and Sheyi Ojo are notably absent.

The goalkeeper is likely to depart permanently, with Besiktas favourites [Turkish Football], while Chirivella is set for Rosenborg, after we accepted a small offer for his services from the Norwegians [ESPN]. Woodburn is set for a loan deal at Aston Villa, which will be mighty beneficial should he get the requited minutes [Express], while we’re not sure where Ojo will yet end up…

The winger has impressed during pre-season, scoring last time out against Manchester United, so we imagine his exit will also be a temporary one.

Before the season begins, we can also see Danny Ings and Divock Origi departing, meaning Daniel Sturridge will be the primary backup to Roberto Firmino, and Rhian Brewster will step up to compete with Dominic Solanke for minutes.
