Jurgen Klopp teases fans with exciting deadline day hint 👀

Jurgen Klopp has teased fans with a little hint about some more transfer activity before next week’s deadline.

Liverpool have had a busy summer bringing in big names like Naby Keita, Fabinho, Alisson and Xherdan Shaqiri, so arguably don’t need too much more in the way of new faces.

However, it’s always welcome if top players are out there, and Klopp has not ruled out something else for Reds fans to keep an eye on on the last day of the transfer window.

‘We will see what happens,’ the German is quoted in the Independent.

‘I cannot kill your D-day show, people sit there in front of the television all day waiting.’

Deadline Day is always a big event as fans stay glued to Sky Sports News and social media for minute-by-minute updates, and though some clubs need it far more than us right now, there’s no doubt we’ll be paying attention too.

Klopp gives no indication about what areas he could try to strengthen, but we wouldn’t be against another centre-back and possibly a top creative/wide player in the Philippe Coutinho mould.

More likely perhaps is players heading out, if Klopp’s next quote is anything to go by…

‘In this moment, the squad would be too big, that’s true.

‘But it’s not that that means for us that we give them for free or something like that, Liverpool is strong enough to keep all these players and then we deal with that.’
