But judging on our past two pre-seasons, we reckon Jurgen Klopp will pick a very strong XI today in what’ll almost be a dry-run of this weekend’s Anfield clash.

As a result, we think the starting XI will be almost identical.

Alisson is a guaranteed starter in goal and we hope he racks up another clean-sheet following his debut v Napoli.

Joe Gomez and Virgil van Dijk will begin at centre-back, with Andrew Robertson at left-back. Nathaniel Clyne has been the first-choice at right-back this summer, but Trent Alexander-Arnold impressed upon his return in Dublin and we think he might get the nod today.

Fabinho will hold the midfield, with Naby Keita another guarantee in the midfield three. The last spot is up for grabs, with James Milner, Gini Wijnaldum and Xherdan Shaqiri competing for it. We reckon that due to our Swiss signing’s exceptional performances, he may get the nod, although it wouldn’t surprise us if Klopp went with a slightly safer option.

The front-three picks itself, although Daniel Sturridge should get minutes after his recent excellent form.

What d’you reckon, Reds?
