Summer signings Alisson and Fabinho have had their squad numbers for this season confirmed by Liverpool on the eve of the new campaign.
We get our season started by hosting West Ham United at Anfield on Sunday, and it’s hoped that we get our first glimpse of all of our summer recruits in competitive action.

As per the club site, Alisson will wear the No.13 while Fabinho has been given the No.3 jersey ahead of their first season with us.
Having impressed for Roma and Monaco respectively, the pair will now look to help the Reds in our bid to kick on moving forward and to target major honours.
Coupled with the additions of Naby Keita and Xherdan Shaqiri this summer, Jurgen Klopp has strengthened key areas of the squad and that will hopefully help us build on last season and continue to improve.
From Alisson’s shot-stopping and technical quality to distribute, to Fabinho’s versatility and energy, the Brazilian pair will undoubtedly be hoping to make an instant impact.
However, as per Klopp’s press conference on Friday, it remains to be seen whether or not Fabinho will be available to feature as he has a fitness concern ahead of our opener.
“The scan was clear. It was only a check-up but he felt ill so we sent him home again,” he told Liverpoolfc.com.
With that in mind, we may have to wait for a first look at our new No.3.
