Despite this, it’s great to see the pair helping each other during rehab, as this picture uploaded by Brewster today indicates.

Ox is not going to feature this term, and if he does, it’ll be fleetingly at the end of the campaign, but Brewster was promised an active role should he extend his deal and not sign for a German club, which he did.

The teenager wants first-team football, and although he’s not going to be a starter, minutes from the bench will help his development.

The Englishman is phenomenally talented and could become a key player for us, providing we give him the chances his ability requires.

Curtis Jones is another youngster we’ve got incredibly high hopes for following the teenager’s performances throughout pre-season – and we predict he’ll be on the bench in our first League Cup match – whoever that may be against.
