Kevin De Bruyne is on crutches after he injured his right knee in the lead-up to the Arsenal game, and could be out for a significant length of time.
The Belgian is the Premier League’s best midfielder and his absence will undoubtedly weaken our title rivals.

However, the list of fixtures the 27-year-old is expected to miss are very easy, bar an away trip to Liverpool: Huddersfield Town (h) Wolves (a) Newcastle Utd (h) Fulham (h) Cardiff City (a) Brighton (h) Liverpool (a) Burnley (h).
In reality, David Silva, Bernardo Silva and Ilkay Gundogan should be able to more than cover their star man.
Some Reds online were happy at the news, but the vast majority, from our timeline, anyway, have shown true class.
De Bruyne is a wonderful footballer and a decent lad, too – and he’ll still play a big role for the Citizens this term.
Hopefully Liverpool’s best players remain fit and healthy, as we don’t have the same kind of replacement options as Pep Guardiola.
Haven't seen one LFC fan on here celebrating De Bruyne's injury. That says a lot about firstly our fans, but also how KDB as a footballer and a lad.

Disappointing to see a player of De Bruyne’s calibre out for a few months. Any football fan loves to see someone of that quality play. From a Liverpool perspective, it’s good to have your rivals for the title weakened despite the obvious depth City possess.

To all of you celebrating De Bruyne's injury: STOP.
Firstly, that's disgusting to do.
Secondly, you can't celebrate his injury and complain when others did the same about Salah. An injury should never be celebrated, especially when it happens to such a brilliant player.— Matt Thielen (@MattThielen) August 16, 2018
