Loris Karius has confirmed his transfer to Besiktas on his Instagram page – and took the opportunity to send Liverpool fans a classy and heartfelt goodbye message.
The German had a nightmare in the Champions League final last season as his two errors cost us the game in Kiev as he messed up on goals for Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale.

Until that point, Karius had actually had a pretty decent run in Jurgen Klopp’s starting line up, but there was never likely to be a way back for him after that, especially after we then signed Alisson this summer.
Still, it’s hard not to like the guy and fair play to him for this acknowledgement of the fans’ support in this post…
